The EQ Project returns to Automechanika Buenos Aires 2026 with a new challenge: the live assembly of a 1968 Ford Mustang in just four days. This project brings together leading automotive restoration professionals who will work in front of the public, combining technique, experience and learning in real time.
At a stand specially designed as a live workshop, a team of 20 renowned professionals will work for four days to complete the assembly of a 1968 Ford Mustang Hardtop V8.
Following the success of the 1929 Ford Hot Rod at the previous edition, Project EQ takes on a new challenge that visitors will be able to follow in real time.
In addition, visitors will be able to participate in interactive experiences and technical talks led by the specialists involved in the project, with opportunities for discussion and consultation on different stages and knowledge related to the restoration process.
The entire Mustang preparation process will be broadcast week after week on El Canal de la Ciudad and on the official YouTube channel of Proyecto EQ, every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
