Conozca Argentina

Faro del Fin del Mundo, Ushuaia

Argentina is the southest country of South America. Its name comes from the Latin term "argentum" which means silver.

It has an area of almost 3,800,000 square kilometers, of which 74% is continental and the rest belongs to the Antarctic sector. The relief is characterized by the contrast between the large eastern plains and the majestic Los Andes mountain range to the west in which we find the Aconcagua, the highest peak of the hemispheres sur and occidental. At present, it has a population of over 40 million people; almost half of it lives in the capital city and in Buenos Aires province.

Due to its wideness longitudinal and latitudinal it has a very heterogeneous climate: cold and humid in the Patagonian west; mild and humid in the Pampa plain; subtropical in the Mesopotamia north and hot in the Northeast.

It is a country blessed by nature, full of astonishing landscapes, with excellent gastronomic proposals and endless cultural options throughout. It receives approximately 2,500,000 travelers a year.

It is considered one of the most attractive tourist centers of the region and a key pole for the development of exhibitions and scientific-academic meetings.
